With a showroom located at 244 Britannia Road, and a service center close by on 2650 Priscilla Street, we are an Ottawa based business that is expanding each year, we sell and service our own brand of electric bikes at our Ottawa locations, as well as our distributors across the country. What is different about Teslica eBikes?

We are an Ottawa based company, and we sell our own brand of eBikes. Cutting down on the middle man and giving our customers the best prices for eBikes.

We are located near the Trans-Canada bike trail, where we offer free test rides for interested customers, so that they can ride our demo bike before purchasing.

Old school service, new technology. We make sure to keep all of our spare parts in stock, to make sure customers are not waiting for parts. Ebike parts can be really hard to find, but our customers never have to worry about that. We also provide a 2-year warranty to each bike we sell.

Hiring position:

Full-Time Electric Bicycle Repair Shop Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain a wide range of bicycles, electric bicycles, including diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
  • Supervise a team of Technicians, Mechanics and Advisors, helping each with their day-to-day operations.
  • Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance to ensure eBikes are in optimal working condition and meet safety standards.
  • Assemble new ebikes following guidelines and specifications.
  • Handle customer inquiries, provide expert advice, and deliver exceptional customer service in-person and over the phone.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to educate customers about the features, functions, and maintenance requirements of our ebike products.
  • Manage and maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and components for efficient repair turnaround times.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of standard operating procedures for eBike servicing and maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in eBike mechanics.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an eBike Mechanic or similar role, with a fair understanding of electric bicycles, their components, and systems.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in eBikes.
  • Familiarity with eBike drive systems, battery technology, and related diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities and the capacity to communicate technical concepts in a clear and friendly manner.
  • Organised and detail-oriented, ensuring accurate record-keeping and documentation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Main Communicating Language: English

  • Supervising experience (Plus)
  • Bicycle Mechanic School Degree (Plus)
