Can I get exercise on an E-bike?

Yes. In Canada E-bikes are also knows as peddle assist, meaning when you peddle, the electric motor kicks in to assist you. We have 5 levels of power assist that allows you to do most of the work yourself or to do very little. Our bikes have between 7 and 24 gears so you may also opt for no assist and ride it like a regular bike. So, even if you choose level 5 assist to do very little work, you will likely find yourself going further, faster and getting out more often. And that my friends is exercise!

What comes with my bike?

Our bikes come with all the extras. These bonus items can add up quickly but we will always give more for less. Included are the front and rear fenders, cargo rack, LED headlight, tail light, a bell and disc brakes. Most models also include an upgraded saddle and water bottle holder.

How do I assemble my bike? (if shipped to you)

Each bike comes about 85% complete. Final assembly will take about an hour or more depending on your skill level. About 30 minutes if you are experienced. Tools are included for assembly. Final assembly includes installing the fork*, handle bars, front wheel, front fender, LED headlight, peddles and bottle holder.

Do you have a shop or display room?

You can come to us, or we can come to you. New for 2021 we are opening a showroom along the paths of the Ottawa River in Britannia Village! Here you can view, demo, service and purchase fully assembled e-bikes in the heart of Ottawa's green belt. We are still different and will continue to set appointments at your home if you choose  - just how we have been doing it since the beginning.  We come to you* in our awesome Teslica van to answer your questions and give you the opportunity to demo our various models.

Where can I have my bike serviced?

At our new shop  we will provide full service, parts, repair and warranty work for Teslica E-bikes. Any reputable certified E-bike service and repair should be able to work on your Teslica E-bike. Please check locally. We can work directly with them for any warranty parts, service or maintenance work. We always stock spare parts and can overnight ship to  your desired location.

What is the warranty?

The limited warranty covers all non wearable parts against defects in materials and workmanship of the E-bike. Replacement parts will be covered under warranty for the remainder of the warranty term. Warranty is for 15 months from the date of purchase. This limited warranty does not cover any damage sustained to the E-bike either by the owner, negligence of the owner or otherwise. This limited warranty does not cover any damage caused by the owner modifying, attempting to fix, or otherwise altering the E-bike. This limited warranty does not cover wearable parts against defects, it does not cover wear of parts such as but not limited to brake pads, cables, gears, tires, chains or tubes. This warranty will be void if the E-bike is not suitably maintained and kept as deemed acceptable according to Teslica, which includes charging the battery a minimum of every three months.

What is your return and refund policy?

You must alert us within 14 days of receiving the product of your intent to return. All returned items must be new, unused, unassembled and include all original parts and packaging materials. Returns will not be granted after 14 days of receiving the product. Returns will not be granted if the product is used, does not have all original parts and original packing materials. You can expect a refund after we have we received back the product, inspected it to be assured it is in new condition and eligible for resale. You will be refunded the purchase price, excluding the original "free shipping" if applicable, cost included in the original price of the product, return shipping fees and a $100 restocking fee. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for returning the product at their own expense. You can expect a refund within 14 days of our receiving your returned product back complete and in new, unused condition with all parts and original packaging.
